At The Weathering Aircraft we thought it would be a good idea (as well as practical) to bring together in the same magazine the most common ways we work with to achieve these effects and explain them in the most pleasant and simple way possible.

With this issue, you will come to understand from the many uses for preshading, to more complex techniques including illuminating and shading each individual panel by airbrush. We have also dedicate critical pages to tips for brush work which is increasingly common in the world of aviation modelling. Finally, we have not forgotten Oilbrusher colours, used to easily apply show stopping depth and realism with lighting effects that you will learn in this enlightening issue. In contrast, the versatile line of acrylic Shaders is specifically formulated to create dynamic translucent shading and shadow in colour with ease.
